Commitment to Privacy
Toowoomba Christian Fellowship (TCF) respects your privacy when collecting and handling personal information.
TCF is obliged by the National Privacy Principles, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Act").
Receipt of Personal Information
TCF will collect personal information directly from you when you register on our web site. In the event of a registration for either email, or direct mailed subscription to The Chapel Magazine, TCF will be in receipt of your name and email address, as well as your mailing address (for direct mailed subscriptions only). Failure to provide us with the requested information when you sign up will render your registration incomplete and you will not receive email updates.
Our service provider records your visit to our web site and logs information from your browser including your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the pages accessed, documents downloaded, and the type of browser used. This is a fraud prevention measure, and enables us to evaluate our web site usage and improve our online service. This information is not linked back to individual users except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the service provider’s logs.
Unsubscribing from email updates
TCF provides users with the opportunity to unsubscribe from our regular email updates. If you do not wish to receive the email correspondence, please reply to the email update with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject of the email.
If you have already submitted your registration information and granted your permission to receive email correspondence, you may amend your details by contacting TCF at info@thechapelmagazine.org.au

TCF only uses or discloses personal information it collects about you in compliance with the Act. TCF does not sell or rent your personal information to any third party without your permission.
Quality and Security of your Personal Information
Your personal information is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure by a range of security measures including computer network security systems, restricted access and building security systems, firewalls, expert computer monitoring and passwords for checking identity before disclosing information. Information submitted via our web site uses standard technology to ensure your information is kept private. Information on our web site is protected by encryption and firewall technology. Only authorized employees are permitted to access your personal information. TCF employees must comply with our Privacy Policy.We will take reasonable steps to implement and maintain security precautions and endeavor to prevent unauthorized access to, disclosure or use of submitted information. However, as no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. TCF is unable to guarantee that unauthorized access to submitted information will not occur, either during transmission of that information or after we receive that information.
